| Meteor Communications, a client of A-T Engineering, manufacture an innovative 3G camera for use in remote locations. Working in partnership with we developed, prototyped and manufactured a robust pillar housing to enable their innovative 3G camera to be quickly and easily deployed. This allows it to be used in flood defence infrastructure.
We have also worked together with the Environment Agency, who had a vision and specification that the 3G camera & housing system had to fulfil. Quick-Turnaround Prototype Machining Working from an initial, basic and incomplete brief, A-T Engineering developed and manufactured a series of prototype 3G camera housing units at short notice, which enabled the customer to visualise and refine the required final solution. Over the course of three months, three different iterations of the pillar were developed, manufactured and tested, which involved site visits to understand the intended locations and performance of the housing. Design meetings were conducted with the Environment Agency and joint development sessions were planned in order to quickly progress to a final production camera housing. |
