A-T Engineering have recently completed the build of two state of the art water quality monitoring/testing trailers on behalf of the Environment Agency’s, National Water Quality Instrumentation Service (NWQIS). A-T Engineering have worked closely with NWQIS from an environmental engineering perspective, from initial design through to delivery, producing a unique, modular water quality monitoring & testing solution.
Having worked with the NWQIS on a wide array of environmental engineering and water quality monitoring projects over many years, their mechanical expertise has been central to the development of a wide range of mobile, transportable and portable high specification water quality monitoring & testing systems. Wessex Water had commissioned the NWQIS to provide a mobile water quality monitoring platform which will be used as part of their extensive programme of pro-active water quality monitoring & testing. Water quality monitoring involves the testing of parameters such as phosphorus, nitrates and ammonium. Data from the water quality monitors are fed back to Wessex Water in real time via a bespoke sensor web network
